The U2MIDI Pro is a MIDI interface built into a 2 m (6.5 ft) cable. One end is a USB-A plug and the other carries 5-pin DIN MIDI connectors, giving 1 MIDI input and 1 MIDI output for connecting most MIDI hardware to a computer.
It works without extra setup and is compatible with all major operating systems. Beyond simple pass-through, the free UxMIDI Tools software provides router, filter and mapper options, and the device can store 2 assignable MIDI presets.
Connection is by USB-A on the computer side and 5-pin DIN MIDI on the instrument side, so it can link keyboards, synths, drum machines and other DIN-equipped gear to a computer or host.
