The Master Jubilee extends the Reference Jubilee design with a taller chassis and a motor housed in its own unit. The extra height leaves space for a second tonearm, so two arms or cartridges can be set up side by side. The chassis is a curved, layered-wood and aluminium sandwich, and a secondary mass platter under the main platter brings the total weight above 30 kg.
The external DC motor runs from a regulated 24 V supply and is isolated from the chassis by the IMS suspension, which uses 18 O-rings. Speed is set by a self-calibrating hybrid control: a 12-bit DAC produces a reference voltage for an analogue control circuit, which compensates for friction and temperature changes at the bearing and belt. Calibration runs at the press of a button. The bearing is an inverted ceramic axle in a sintered-bronze bushing with magnetic (CMB) support.
The turntable plays at 33⅓, 45 and 78 rpm and drives the platter by belt. A Professional Power 24V power supply is included. The tonearm is not part of the turntable and is chosen separately.
