Innovation Compact

The Innovation Compact is a belt-drive turntable built on a sandwich chassis of laminated wood and aluminium, with a black acrylic version also offered. The deliberately small chassis area is meant to combine rigidity with resonance control. Feet are height-adjustable, and the base can take up to two tonearms, so different cartridge and record combinations can share one deck.

A 24 V DC motor drives the platter by belt. Speed is regulated electronically by Optical Speed Control (OSC), which uses an optical sensor. The 70 mm platter is made of dense, dimensionally stable technical plastic (POM) and is dynamically balanced. It runs on an inverted bearing with a ground and polished ceramic shaft, a sintered bronze bushing and magnetic bearing technology (CMB). Speeds of 33 1/3, 45 and 78 rpm are available, and wow and flutter is stated as below ±0.08 %.

The deck weighs about 12 kg without tonearm and power supply. Power draw is 2.5 W in operation and standby, with a maximum of 9.3 W. The manufacturer gives a 5-year warranty when the warranty card is returned within 14 days. Tonearm and cartridge are not part of the listed specification.
