The SX80 is a floorstanding loudspeaker that combines two 165mm (6.5") woofers with one 25mm (1") silk dome tweeter. The tall cabinet has a single front-facing port and is finished in matte black. The maker describes the design as deliberately simple so the sound stays the focus.
Quoted performance figures are a frequency response of 40Hz–20kHz, a sensitivity of 87dB and a nominal impedance of 8 ohms. Each speaker measures 240 x 980 x 338mm and weighs 16.9kg, so it needs a stable floor position and space around the ported front.
It is a passive speaker and connects to an external stereo amplifier or receiver. Customer reviews on the product page mention pairing with a CD player and amplifier from the same maker, and using the speakers to upgrade a mini hi-fi system. The product is marked as archived on the maker's site.
