Minx Min 22

The Minx Min 22 is a small passive speaker built around two 4th-generation balanced mode radiator (BMR) drivers. One of them is dedicated to low frequencies, which gives it more bass depth and detail than the smaller Min 12. The BMR design provides 180° dispersion and a wider listening area than conventional drivers.

The cabinet is lacquered ABS with a die-cast aluminium exoskeleton. It can stand vertically or horizontally, so one model covers left/right, surround and centre-channel duty. Mounting options include a flush wall bracket, floor stands or a table stand, and it also fits on a desk or shelf. It is designed to be teamed with Minx subwoofers, which handle the lowest frequencies below its 120 Hz limit.

Connection is through high-quality binding posts that accept banana plugs or bare wire, so it needs a separate amplifier or AV receiver rated for 25–200 W into 8 ohm compatible loads. It comes in high gloss black or high gloss white, and one speaker is supplied per box.
