The CXR200 combines a seven-channel amplifier, an AV receiver and a network streamer in one chassis. Power is rated at 200 W RMS per channel into 6 ohms with two channels driven, and 120 W per channel into 8 ohms with all seven channels driven. It is the higher-powered counterpart to the CXR120 and adds Zone 2 operation.
Video is handled by six HDMI 2.0 inputs with HDCP 2.2 and two MHL-compatible inputs limited to 1080p. There are two HDMI 2.0 outputs: HDMI 1 carries ARC, and HDMI 2 supplies Zone 2. Audio inputs include four analogue, two digital coaxial and four optical, plus an FM/AM tuner and a 7.1 multi-channel analogue direct input.
Network features include Wi-Fi, an RJ45 Ethernet port and Spotify Connect. A Bluetooth adapter (BT100) is supported but not supplied. Streamed and USB drive files can be in formats such as ALAC, WAV, FLAC, AIFF, WMA, MP3, AAC and OGG Vorbis up to 24-bit/192 kHz, with DSD passed via HDMI. Control connections include RS232C, IR in and out, and 12V trigger outputs.
