HTM71 S3
A three-way center-channel speaker from the 700 Series S3 range, with a decoupled Carbon Dome tweeter on top, a Continuum cone midrange and twin Aerofoil bass cones. Intended for home theatre systems built around the 705 S3, 703 S3 and 702 S3.

The HTM71 S3 is a vented-box center-channel loudspeaker with a three-way layout. A 25 mm decoupled Carbon Dome tweeter sits in a Solid Body Tweeter-on-Top housing milled from a single block of aluminum. A dedicated 130 mm Continuum cone FST midrange handles voices and dialogue, while two 130 mm Aerofoil Profile bass cones cover the low end, assisted by a Flowport.
The tweeter housing uses a longer tube-loading system and decoupling to limit resonance. The Carbon Dome raises the tweeter breakup threshold to 47 kHz. The midrange uses the Continuum cone, FST, Biomimetic Suspension and decoupling from the bass drivers. The Tweeter-on-Top design is meant to match other 700 Series models in a surround setup.
The speaker is a passive model connected to an external amplifier or AV receiver through its speaker terminals. It has a nominal impedance of 8 Ω and works with amplifiers rated 30 W to 200 W into 8 Ω. It comes in Gloss Black, Satin White or Mocha, with a choice of grille colors.
