A compact two-way center channel speaker from the Performance 600 Series, designed for home theater setups and as a partner to the 603 S3 tower. It pairs a titanium dome tweeter with two Continuum cone bass/midrange drivers in a vented cabinet.

The HTM6 S3 is a center channel loudspeaker that handles dialogue and front-stage effects in a home cinema system. Its small cabinet suits shelves and furniture, and it is intended to be matched with the 603 S3 floorstanding speaker. The design is a 2-way vented-box system with Flowport technology.
High frequencies come from a 25 mm Decoupled Double Dome titanium tweeter behind a grille mesh that is more acoustically transparent than earlier versions. Two 130 mm Continuum cone drivers cover bass and midrange. The Continuum cone has a composite construction, which avoids abrupt changes in behavior that can affect conventional drive units.
Connection is through speaker terminals with a revised layout, derived from those in the 700 Series range, giving a cleaner signal path from the amplifier. The speaker is driven by an amplifier or AV receiver rated for 30 W to 120 W into 8 ohms. It is available with a black, white or oak cabinet.
