DB1D
The DB1D is a 12-inch class powered subwoofer with two opposed 300 mm Aerofoil-cone drivers, digital amplification and a digital preamplifier with Dynamic EQ. It suits home hi-fi and cinema systems, and is positioned as a partner for the maker's 800 Series Diamond speakers.

The DB1D is a powered subwoofer from the DB Series. It uses two 300 mm (12 in) Aerofoil-cone drive units mounted back to back in a balanced configuration, so that cabinet vibrations from each driver cancel out. The enclosure is described as rigid and highly damped. The drivers are fed by a digital amplifier, which runs cool and is energy efficient.
Signal processing is handled by a digital preamplifier with Dynamic EQ, supported by Room EQ for tuning the sound to the listening space. Set-up and control are done from a dedicated subwoofer app over Bluetooth LE. The stated frequency response is 10 Hz to 350 Hz (-3 dB), and -6 dB at 8.5 Hz to 500 Hz.
Connections are two XLR inputs, two RCA inputs, two 3.5 mm 12 V trigger connections and an RS-232 control port on a 9-pin D connector. The cabinet is available in Stealth Black with a black grille or Warm White with a grey grille, and weighs 43 kg.
