Beskrivelse
The SY-200 turns a guitar or bass into a polyphonic synthesizer without a dedicated pickup. Its 171 sounds are grouped into 12 categories: Lead, Pad, String, Bell, Organ, Bass, Dual, Sweep, Noise, SFX, Seq and Arpeggio. Three knobs adjust parameters for each sound, and 128 memories store and recall settings. Separate direct and effect level knobs blend the synth with the normal guitar signal.
On the hardware side there are two footswitches. The Memory/CTL 1 switch can be assigned to memory change, hold, pitch control and other functions. Further control comes from up to two external footswitches or an expression pedal, and the pedal has a backlit graphic LCD. A selectable guitar or bass mode optimises the synth engine globally.
The pedal has a parallel send/return loop for combining other pedals with the synth voices, plus MIDI in and out on 3.5 mm TRS jacks for use with loop switchers and other MIDI gear. A micro USB port is used for firmware updates. Power comes from three AA batteries or a PSA-series adaptor sold separately.
