Opis
The SD-1W is a single-channel overdrive pedal that revisits the SD-1 Super Overdrive with a newly revised, all-analog discrete amplifier circuit. It belongs to the Waza Craft line, which is built in Japan with selected analog components. The pedal responds to picking dynamics and changes in guitar volume.
A mode switch selects between Standard, which reproduces the familiar SD-1 sound, and Custom, which extends the tonal range and gain. Drive, Tone and Level knobs set the character, a footswitch engages the effect, and a Check indicator doubles as a battery test light.
The pedal has a single input and output jack on a 1/4-inch layout and runs from a 9 V battery or an optional PSA-series AC adaptor via the DC IN jack. A 9 V carbon-zinc battery is included, and the unit carries a five-year warranty.
