Opis
The ME-90B combines a dedicated bass preamp and EQ section with six effect categories that can run at the same time: compressor, filter, drive/synth, modulation, delay/reverb and expression-pedal effects. Ten AIRD preamp types include original BOSS voicings, classic amp models, an Acoustic type for acoustic-electric or upright pickups, and an EQ-only option for clean DI tones. A Blend knob mixes direct bass signal back in.
Operation is split between Manual mode, where each category is switched on and off like a pedalboard, and Memory mode, which recalls 36 user and 36 preset setups. Eight multi-function footswitches with colour-coded LEDs and an expression pedal with toe switch handle control. Up to three user speaker IRs can be loaded, and a send/return loop takes external pedals.
Outputs are stereo 1/4-inch jacks, a balanced XLR with ground lift for a PA, and a headphone jack. A rear switch tunes the 1/4-inch outputs for a bass amp or full-range system. USB-C carries audio and connects to BOSS Tone Studio for editing on Windows and macOS. The unit runs on four AA batteries or an optional AC adaptor, and the optional BT-DUAL adaptor adds Bluetooth for editing and audio streaming from mobile devices.
