Beskrivelse
The CE-5 is a compact chorus pedal based on the chorus effect of the BOSS CE-1 Chorus Ensemble from 1976. It covers a range from warm, vintage modulation to brighter, glassy tones, and it is aimed at players who want both traditional and newer chorus colours in one pedal.
Rate, depth and effect level knobs set the speed, intensity and amount of the chorus, from a light shimmer to deep, wavy movement. Two filter knobs, high filter and low filter, shape the upper and lower frequency range of the effect so it can be fitted into a mix or a pedalboard chain.
The pedal has a mono input and two outputs, A and B. In stereo use, the outputs deliver separate wet and dry signals. Sent to two amplifiers, they recreate the wide sound of the Roland JC-120 Jazz Chorus stereo circuit. Power comes from a 9 V alkaline battery or an optional PSA-series AC adaptor.
