The PULSE MINI is a compact all-in-one network speaker built around a dual acoustic chamber design. It uses two 4-inch woofers and two 3/4-inch tweeters driven by 100 watts of total system power, with a built-in DAC and DSP engine. Hi-res files up to 24-bit, including FLAC, MQA, WAV and AIFF, are supported at sampling rates from 32 to 192 kHz.
Music is streamed through the BluOS Controller app from streaming services, internet radio, podcasts or a personal library on a network share. The speaker supports AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect and Roon Ready. Voice control is available through Amazon Alexa skills, and the speaker can be grouped with other Bluesound players for multi-room playback or paired with a second unit as a left/right stereo pair.
For connections it has dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Gigabit Ethernet, two-way Bluetooth with aptX HD (receive and transmit), a combined Toslink/3.5 mm input, a 3.5 mm headphone output and a USB Type-A port for memory sticks. Control4, Crestron, URC, RTI, ELAN, Lutron and Josh.ai integrations are listed, and an optional RC1 remote works with the built-in IR sensor.
