Blipblox After Dark

Blipblox After Dark – The grown-up Blipblox synth

The After Dark is the more advanced member of the Blipblox family: the same hands-on, screen-free instrument, now with a clearly labelled panel and a wavetable oscillator with 256 waveforms for edgier, more detailed digital sounds. Sixteen oscillators, a multimode resonant filter, two envelopes, two LFOs and a 3x3 modulation matrix give real synthesis depth, while captive controls keep it playable for ages three and up. It suits players ready to move past the basics without losing the immediacy.

Key Features

• Wavetable oscillator: 256 waveforms you can scan and morph for evolving digital tones.
• 16 oscillators: Layered voices for rich, detailed sounds.
• Multimode resonant filter: Shape brightness and bite directly from the panel.
• 3x3 modulation matrix: Route two envelopes and two LFOs for movement and texture.
• Built-in drum machine: Over 100 sampled drum sounds, each with adjustable pitch.
• 5-pin MIDI input: Connect a keyboard or DAW to play and sequence it.

Customer Benefits

The After Dark keeps the Blipblox idea of learning by turning knobs, then adds the tools a growing player asks for. The printed control labels make the signal path easy to follow, and the wavetable oscillator opens up sounds the standard Blipblox voices do not reach. With over 300 built-in melodies and a full drum machine it plays straight out of the box, and the MIDI input and stereo output let it sit in a proper setup when the built-in speaker is no longer enough.
