Tygr 300 R

The Tygr 300 R is a circumaural open-back headphone tuned for gaming. Its frequency response is based on the DT 990 PRO, with a pronounced bass and detailed, accentuated treble. An acoustic fleece inside the earcup levels the high frequencies without losing detail, which is meant to reduce listening fatigue over long sessions.

The open design gives a wider, more three-dimensional soundstage for locating sounds in a game, and the air-permeable construction runs cooler than a closed design. Because outside noise is barely attenuated, you can hear your own voice and your surroundings while talking to teammates. The earpads are velours, the headphones weigh 290 g without the cable, and they are made by hand in Germany. Ear pads and drivers are available as spare parts.

It is a passive, wired headphone with a fixed, straight 1.6 m cable ending in a gold-plated 3.5 mm stereo plug, plus a 6.35 mm (1/4") adapter. It works with PC and with the PS5 and Xbox Series X through the controller's jack. Maximum volume depends on the output of the connected device.
