The TG V50 is a dynamic vocal microphone with a cardioid polar pattern, designed for live vocal work in clubs, festivals and rehearsal rooms. Its sound is described as balanced and natural, with a bright, defined treble range. The cardioid pattern gives high resistance to feedback and helps keep background noise out of the vocal.
It is offered in two versions. The TG V50 has no switch, while the TG V50 s has an on/off switch set into the grip. That switch can be locked and operates without noise. The housing is built to be robust while keeping an elegant look.
The microphone uses beyerdynamic's Sound Channelling Technology (SCT), in which acoustic labyrinths with tuned delay lines and attenuation pads shape the sound and the polar pattern. It connects through a 3-pin XLR output. A microphone clamp and a softbag are included.
