The DT 150 is a closed-back, circumaural headphone aimed at monitoring in loud surroundings. The ear cups seal around the ear and are fitted with soft softskin pads, giving strong isolation from outside noise and making the headphone suitable for use at high sound pressure levels.
Sound is produced by a neodymium magnet system with a nominal impedance of 250 ohms and a stated frequency response of 5 to 30,000 Hz. The nominal sound pressure level is 97 dB, and the headphone weighs 250 g without the cable. It is built in Germany.
The connection is wired only, with no remote. A straight cable ends in a 3.5 mm mini-jack plug, and a 6.35 mm (1/4 inch) adapter is supplied for equipment with larger sockets. Replacement cable, ear pads and head cushion are available as separate spare parts.
