Xenyx X1832USB

The X1832USB is a compact analog mixing desk with six onboard XENYX mic preamps. Each channel has a British-style EQ with a semi-parametric mid band, and the compressors are single-knob units with a status LED that lights when the threshold is reached. A 24-bit dual-engine effects processor offers 16 editable presets, including reverb, chorus, flanger, delay, pitch shifter and multi-effects. Time-based effects can be tapped in to tempo and applied to any channel, the monitors and the main output.

Other tools include a stereo 9-band graphic EQ that can be assigned to the main or monitor buses, and an FBQ feedback detection system that lights the LED on the matching EQ fader. Inputs 1 to 4 have inserts for outboard processors. Monitor and FX send controls use full-sized faders. The mixer also has an XPQ 3D stereo surround effect and a Voice Canceller function for removing vocals from pre-recorded material.

A built-in bidirectional stereo USB audio interface connects to a PC or Mac with a single cable, so any source on the mixer can be recorded to a computer. Recording and editing software is supplied for setting up a home studio.
