The UB-1 MICRO is a small analog synth modelled on the sound of a classic 1980s instrument. It has two digitally controlled oscillators, a sub oscillator and noise generator, a classic 4-pole filter, VCF and VCA envelopes, and two LFOs for shaping sounds. Playing is done on a 16-key electro-capacitive keyboard that responds to touch.
A three-pattern arpeggiator is built in, and the unit stores 32 memory presets. Presets can be programmed with the SynthTribe app and over MIDI via USB. The factory sounds come from the Ultimate Patches Volume 4 collection, with further volumes available separately from the preset maker's website.
The unit can be powered from a smartphone, power bank or laptop, so it can be used away from a wall outlet. It also works with the Behringer SWING MIDI controller for extra hands-on control and functionality.
