The TD-3-MO-BK is a monophonic analog bass synthesizer with a sawtooth and square wave oscillator, a 4-pole resonant low-pass filter and a pure analog signal path built with matched transistors. Default routing means it makes sound without any patch cables. A Sub Oscillator button adds an extra octave below the main pitch.
Beyond the original design it adds a MIDI CC-controllable filter, variable slide time, a three-mode Sweep Speed switch, an Accent Sweep switch and a Soft Attack control. The filter section has cutoff, resonance, envelope, decay and accent controls, and the oscillator can be tuned, shaped and overdriven.
The onboard sequencer has 7 tracks and up to 16 steps per pattern, with notes and rests. It stores up to 250 patterns in 4 Groups and plays in Keyboard or Step mode. An arpeggiator is included. The Poly Chain function links several units for up to 16 voices of polyphony, and a multi-I/O patchbay connects external devices.
