Deskrizzjoni

The TA5212 is a gooseneck microphone built around a supercardioid condenser capsule. The pickup pattern rejects sound arriving from the sides and rear, which helps keep background noise such as air handling, projector fans and audience movement out of a speech signal. The frequency response is stated as 50 Hz to 16 kHz.

The flexible gooseneck shaft keeps its position once set, so the microphone can be placed repeatably at the same spot. A switchable low-cut filter reduces low-frequency rumble in difficult rooms, and an integrated pop/wind shield deals with plosives.

The microphone has a standard XLR output with an impedance of 250 Ω and needs +48 V phantom power, so it can be connected to a mixer or other input that supplies phantom power.
