Spice
Analog semi-modular synthesizer built around two oscillators, four sub-oscillators, a 24 dB ladder filter and a dual 4-step sequencer driven by polyrhythm generators. It suits players who want complex rhythmic patterns that also patch into a Eurorack setup.
- Analog semi-modular polyrhythmic synthesizer
- 2 VCOs with square and sawtooth waveforms
- 4 sub-oscillators with a level mixer
- 24 dB ladder multi-mode filter
- Dual 4-step sequencer with 4 polyrhythm generators
- Patchable to Eurorack gear; tempo manual or external clock

SPICE is an analog semi-modular synthesizer focused on polyrhythmic sequencing. Its sound source is two VCOs, each offering square and sawtooth waveforms, plus sub-harmonic oscillators. A mixer section has level controls for the main VCO and the two sub-oscillators, so the oscillators can be stacked for a layered, pseudo-polyphonic sound.
Sound shaping comes from a 24 dB ladder filter, a VCA and separate VCA and VCF envelope sections. Two 4-step sequencers are clocked by four polyrhythm generators, and all of them follow the tempo control, which can be set manually or taken from an external clock.
The instrument works without any patch cables, but its semi-modular design allows patching to other Eurorack synths and modules to extend the sound.
