The PRO-1 is a monophonic, semi-modular analog synth modelled on the Sequential Circuits Pro-One. Its signal path is fully analog and uses 3340 voltage controlled oscillators. Oscillator A offers sawtooth and pulse, and oscillator B offers sawtooth, triangle and pulse, so up to three waveforms can sound at once. A mixer balances both oscillators against a noise generator, and the oscillators cover a selectable 4-octave range.
Sound is shaped by a 4-pole filter with cutoff, resonance, envelope amount and keyboard amount controls. Two separate ADSR envelope generators serve the filter and the amplifier. The LFO offers sawtooth, triangle and pulse shapes and sweeps from 0.1 to 30 Hz. A modulation matrix sets how much filter envelope, oscillator B and LFO modulation is applied, and the pulse width can be moved by the LFO, an envelope or by hand.
Two 64-note sequencers can store two patterns and play them in Keyboard or Step mode. A three-position arpeggiator offers Up, Down and Off. Default internal routing makes sound without patch cables, while the patchbay allows custom patching. A Poly Chain function links several units for up to 16 voices, and the synth can be moved into a standard Eurorack case.
