The P1 is a small headphone amplifier built so a performer can set their own monitor mix. It takes two sources through dual XLR inputs and can work as a two-channel, mono or stereo unit. A mix function combines the two sources, and two controls, Level and Balance, set the blend.
The headphone output is described as high-power, so the mix stays audible when stage volume rises. A built-in current limiter stops sudden signal peaks from reaching the ears. The metal chassis is small enough to hang from a belt or to mount on a mic stand or drum stand.
Power comes from a single 9 V battery, which runs for up to 12 hours. An optional PSU-SB DC power supply is available for mains-type operation. Signals arrive through the XLR inputs and the monitor mix leaves through the headphone output for in-ear monitors or headphones.
