The HPX6000 is a closed-back, over-ear headphone model aimed at DJ monitoring. It uses large 50 mm high-output drivers with wide dispersion, intended to give DJs enough low-end detail to beat-match by ear. The closed-back construction provides strong passive isolation so the cue mix stays separate from loud room noise.
The ear cups swivel fully, which allows quick single-ear cueing. The heavy-duty frame folds flat so the headphones fit in a gig bag for transport.
Connection is by a detachable coiled cable. A 6.3 mm screw-on adapter is supplied for plugging into larger headphone outputs such as those on mixers and controllers.
