EDGE is an analog semi-modular percussion synthesizer with two oscillators, a multi-mode 24 dB ladder filter and a dual 8-step sequencer. It suits beat-makers and synth players who want drum and bass sounds with optional patching, and it pairs with the Behringer CRAVE.

EDGE generates percussive and bass sounds through a fully analog signal path. Two voltage-controlled oscillators offer pulse and triangle waves, oscillator sync and FM, with a white/pink noise source added for a wider range of timbres. The multi-mode 24 dB resonant ladder filter has low-pass and high-pass modes, and three separate decay envelopes cover pitch, filter cutoff and amplitude.
The dual 8-step sequencer has pitch and velocity controls, and its tempo can reach 10,000 BPM. Forty-four controls give direct access to the main parameters. The unit works with its default internal routing out of the box, and its semi-modular design adds a 15 x 10 I/O patch matrix for control voltage, decay, trigger, velocity, noise level, external audio, tempo and modulation connections.
Connections include MIDI In, MIDI Out/Thru and USB, plus a range of CV, trigger and clock jacks. An external MIDI keyboard, footswitch or expression pedal can be connected for extra control, and several EDGE units can be chained together for more complex setups.
