The DX2000USB combines five dual-stereo inputs with two mono mic/line channels. The mic channels use low-noise preamps with gain control and a clip LED, and there are enough phono preamps for up to three turntables. The built-in USB audio interface brings a computer's music library into the mix.
Each channel has a 3-band kill EQ and gain control. Mono channels add a low cut switch, an FX switch for the send/return loop, a talkover button, a channel on button and PFL for headphone monitoring. Stereo channels have an EQ on/off switch, a crossfader button and an X/Y assign button. The optical VCA crossfader has a curve control and adjustable tension.
Outputs include stereo main outs on 1/4" and XLR, RCA record outs, a mono main out for lighting sync, and an XLR sub bass out with an adjustable crossover (30 - 200 Hz) and level control. Monitor outputs are on 1/4" and XLR, and stereo zone outputs are on 1/4". 1/4" inputs allow connection of outboard EQ units.
