The DEEPMIND 6 is a 6-voice analog polyphonic synthesizer. Each voice has two oscillators, two LFOs, three four-stage ADSR envelope generators and a switchable 12/24 dB low-pass filter with adjustable resonance and tracking. Oscillator 1 produces sawtooth and square/pulse waves with pulse width modulation, while oscillator 2 produces square/pulse waves with tone modulation. Unison, mono and poly modes, oscillator sync, drift, polyphonic portamento and a 6 dB high-pass filter with a +12 dB boost are included.
Four simultaneous digital effects engines offer more than 33 algorithms, including reverbs, choruses, flangers, phasers, delays, a multiband distortion, compressors and an EQ. A true bypass mode removes the effects from the signal path. A modulation matrix with 19 sources and more than 130 destinations, a 32-step control sequencer, an arpeggiator and a chord memory with 36 six-note chords round out the performance tools. 1024 user memory slots store patches.
The 37-key semi-weighted keyboard is velocity-sensitive with aftertouch and three selectable curves. Connections cover balanced TRS outputs, headphones, sustain and pedal/CV, MIDI In/Out/Thru and USB MIDI, which also serves for firmware updates. The synth can be remote-controlled from an iPad, PC or Mac app over USB or MIDI.
