The DEEPMIND 12XD has a fully analog signal path with 12 voices, each with two oscillators, two LFOs and three four-stage ADSR envelope generators. The filter is a selectable 12/24 dB low pass design with adjustable resonance and tracking, followed by stereo VCAs and a 6 dB high pass filter with a +12 dB bass boost. Oscillator modes include several unison, mono and poly configurations, plus oscillator sync, oscillator drift and parameter drift.
Four simultaneous digital effects engines offer more than 33 algorithms from TC Electronic, Midas and Klark Teknik, and a bypass mode removes them from the signal path. An 8-channel modulation matrix connects 20 sources to over 130 destinations, and a 32-step control sequencer, an arpeggiator with up to 6 octaves, polyphonic portamento and chord memory add performance options. 1024 user memory slots hold patches.
Audio leaves through servo-balanced stereo TRS outputs, with a headphone output, sustain and pedal/CV inputs, and MIDI In, Out and Thru. MIDI over USB handles computer connection and firmware updates. Built-in WiFi, which can work as a client or an access point, allows remote control from an iPad, PC or Mac app, with selected Android apps also supported.
