The AMP800 V2 contains four independent stereo high-power amplifier sections, each with two headphone outputs, so up to eight pairs of headphones can be driven at once. Each channel has its own Phones Level control and a 6-digit LED output meter for checking levels at a glance.
Two balanced stereo main inputs, each with separate Level and Balance controls, let you supply two different mixes. Either input can be selected for any of the four headphone amplifier channels, so performers can be split between a click-and-backing mix and a full-band mix, for example.
A Link Out A connection allows additional AMP800 units to be cascaded when more than eight listeners need to be served. The unit uses ultra low-noise audio operational amplifiers, and the build includes high-quality potentiometers and illuminated switches.
