Popcorn is a 10HP Eurorack CV sequencer, quantizer and arpeggiator built around a selection of 8 notes that can be browsed non-linearly. It suits players who want to step through a short note set with triggers, CV or gates, for example from a rhythm sequencer.

Popcorn stores a selection of 8 notes and lets you move through them in non-linear ways. Two trigger inputs, A and B, each advance the pattern 1, 2, 3 or 4 steps forward or backward, according to dedicated knobs. Steps can also be addressed directly with CV or with three binary gates, and a reset input has adjustable trigger/reset priority.
The CV output has a selectable range of 1, 2 or 5 octaves and passes through a quantizer with chromatic, scale (diatonic, pentatonic, blues) and chord (7th, 5th, minor/major) options. Each step has its own gate and slide settings, with global gate time and slide time. The CV input can be assigned to several destinations, including transpose, quantized transpose, offset, reset offset, step triggering, step inversion and random step.
Two units can be linked in dual mode to form 16 steps, with three modes available. The Popcorn CV Exp expander adds more CV inputs, and the Popcorn Gate Exp adds a gate output per step and a jump button. Firmware v1.1 adds manual output calibration for tuning to oscillators. The module is discontinued.
