Audio-Technica ATH-ADX3000

Modeled after the flagship ATH-ADX5000 headphones, the ATH-ADX3000 from Audio-Technica Consumer are open-back headphones sporting natural Open-Air technology. Ideal for audiophiles, these meticulously crafted headphones feature 58mm integrated driver units and Core Mount technology for reduced distortion and improved airflow.

The driver units utilize a pure iron circuit, which offers efficient magnetic characteristics for precise sound reproduction. The tungsten-coated diaphragm delivers excellent rigidity for an improved transient response. The magnesium alloy frame is rigid, thin, and lightweight. The honeycomb-punched housing blocks side ventilation to avoid unwanted air pressure loss. Velour earpads ensure luxurious comfort and long-lasting durability. The cable is detachable, with A2DC connectors on the earcup side and a 1/4" gold-plated plug on the audio source end. Handmade and assembled in Japan, the ATH-ADX3000 headphones include a specially designed hard carrying case.

Japanese Craftmanship

Audio-Technica places special emphasis on driver design to achieve the optimal sound from each pair of headphones. The ATH-ADX3000’s integrated driver units are handmade in their Machida, Tokyo facility to ensure the highest quality. The headphones themselves are meticulously assembled from components built in house, then rigorously tested before leaving the Tokyo factory.

Open-Back Sound

The ATH-ADX3000 open-back design allows unrestricted airflow that prevents any distortion or artificial enhancement to the sound. This results in a purity of sound with truly authentic sound staging and imaging. You get natural bass with no artificial resonance while maintaining pure mid and high frequencies.

Advanced Driver Technology

These headphones feature 58mm integrated driver units, which position the diaphragm, voice coil, baffle, and magnet in a single unit, resulting in improved airflow and full-range audio reproduction. This creates an optimum structure, reducing unnecessary sound distortion. The result is full-range audio with natural bass, pure mid and high frequencies, and a precise, realistic soundstage.
