The SP3000T is a flagship portable player built around two RAYTHEON JAN6418 miniature vacuum tubes. Its Triple Amp System offers Tube, Op-Amp and Hybrid modes, with the hybrid blend adjustable in five levels. The tube stage has three plate-voltage (Tube Current) settings. The tubes are shock-damped in silicone to reduce microphonic noise, and they glow through the rear glass panel in tube and hybrid modes.
Digital and analog processing are kept apart: two AK4191EQ modulators feed two AK4499EX DACs, with silver-plated shield cans over the audio block. The player decodes PCM up to 32-bit/768kHz and native DSD512, and offers a Digital Audio Remaster upsampling option and six selectable DAC filters. A VU meter display is available in the interface. The body is 316L stainless steel with 99.9% silver plating, and a copper edition is also listed.
A Snapdragon 6125 octa-core processor with 8GB of memory runs the interface. Streaming apps run through the Open App Service, network playback through AK Connect, and wireless file transfer through AK File Drop. Outputs are 3.5mm, 2.5mm balanced, 4.4mm balanced and optical, with dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and a USB-C port.
