Kann
The KANN is a portable audio player with a built-in analog headphone amplifier, aimed at listeners who want to drive high-impedance headphones or speakers without a separate amp. It plays PCM up to 32-bit/384kHz and native DSD up to 11.2MHz, and also works as a USB DAC.

The KANN combines a digital audio player and a high-power amplifier in one aluminium body. It uses a single AKM AK4490 DAC and decodes PCM up to 32-bit/384kHz bit-to-bit, plus native DSD64, DSD128 and DSD256. Headphone output has a selectable high or normal gain, reaching 4Vrms unbalanced and 7Vrms balanced in the high setting, so it can drive demanding headphones directly.
Outputs include a 3.5mm headphone jack and a 2.5mm 4-pole balanced jack. The line-out circuit offers four selectable output levels, for use with home systems or car audio. A micro USB port sends digital audio to an external USB DAC (PCM up to 384kHz, DoP at 2.8MHz and 5.6MHz) and needs an OTG cable. Over USB Type-C the player connects to a PC or Mac as a USB DAC, and the same port handles charging and file transfer.
Storage is 64GB built in, expandable through one SD and one microSD slot. A 6,200mAh battery gives up to 15 hours of playback, and the player has 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, OTA firmware updates and a 4-inch touchscreen with a volume wheel. The AK Connect and AK Connect HD apps are available for phones and tablets.
