AK UW100MKII

The AK UW100MKII is a true wireless earphone and the second generation of the AK UW100. Each earbud has a Knowles balanced armature driver and a separate AKM AK4332ECB 32-bit DAC. Digital and analog circuits are separated to reduce noise. The BA driver sits closer to the inside of the ear, and the acoustic chamber and mesh were redesigned around that position.

It uses a Qualcomm QCC5141 Bluetooth chipset with Bluetooth 5.2 and supports SBC, AAC and aptX Adaptive, which scales bit rate up to 420 kbps for 24-bit audio. Qualcomm True Wireless Stereo Plus is supported on compatible phones. Multipoint links up to two devices, and Google Fast Pair simplifies pairing with Android. Noise reduction comes from the earbud structure (passive noise isolation) rather than ANC, with a four-step ambient mode. Two microphones per earbud and cVc 8.0 handle calls.

Control is by capacitive touch and the AK TWS app for Android and iOS, which offers battery information, user EQ, touch-key assignment and ambient level. The case charges over USB-C or wirelessly and supports fast charging. Playback is about 9.5 hours per charge and up to 29 hours with the case. The earbuds are IPX4 rated, and firmware updates over the air.
