MatrixBrute
MatrixBrute is a 49-key analog monophonic synthesizer with three oscillators, two filters, analog effects and a 16x16 modulation matrix that also handles preset recall and sequencing. It suits sound designers and performers who want modular-style routing with stored presets.

The signal path is fully analog. Two Brute oscillators with sub-oscillators sit alongside a third oscillator that can act as an audio source and an LFO at once. A four-type noise generator, a five-input mixer, a Steiner-Parker filter and a ladder filter can be run in series or in parallel. Three envelopes, two further LFOs and an analog effects section complete the voice.
The 16x16 button matrix routes any of 16 modulation sources to any of 16 destinations, four of which are user-assignable and shown on an e-ink display. The same matrix recalls presets, with 256 memory locations and 128 factory sounds, and programs a 64-step sequencer with step, accent, slide and modulation lanes. An arpeggiator and four assignable macro encoders support performance.
For connectivity there are 12 CV inputs and 12 CV outputs for 1V per octave gear, gate and sync connections, an external audio input, stereo outputs, MIDI in/out/thru, USB and expression and sustain pedal inputs. A free editor application manages sound banks.
