Opis
The synthesizer has two analog exponential oscillators with sub-oscillators and a third linear oscillator that can act as audio source and LFO at once. A noise generator offers white, pink, red and blue types. Signal passes through a Steiner-Parker filter and a ladder filter, each with 12 dB and 24 dB slopes and a drive control, which can be set in series or in parallel. Three envelopes, two LFOs, four macro encoders, an Audio Mod section for FM-style routing and a five-input mixer with external input complete the sound engine. Analog effects are on the output.
The central element is a 16x16 push-button matrix. It routes any of 16 modulation sources to 16 destinations, four of which are user-assignable and shown on an e-ink display. The same matrix recalls any of 256 preset locations, which include 128 factory presets, and programs a 64-step sequencer with step, accent, slide and modulation lanes. An arpeggiator is also built in. The 49-note keyboard responds to velocity and aftertouch, and voice modes cover mono, paraphonic and duo split.
On the rear are stereo 1/4 inch outputs, a line or instrument level audio input, 12 CV inputs and 12 CV outputs for 1V per octave gear, gate I/O, sync in and out, expression and sustain pedal inputs, MIDI in, out and thru, and USB. A free MIDI Control Center editor application handles bank management over USB.
