Argon Audio Stream 2 MK3

Argon Audio Stream 2 MK3 – Spotify and Radio for Any Amp

The Argon Audio Stream 2 MK3 is the simplest way to put Spotify Connect and internet radio into a system that has neither. It joins your Wi-Fi, shows what is playing on a 2.4-inch colour screen and comes with a proper remote, so changing station never means reaching for your phone.

Key Features

• Spotify Connect: Pick music in the Spotify app and send it straight to your hi-fi.
• Internet radio: Stations from around the world, browsed from the remote or the front screen.
• 2.4-inch colour display: Station, track and artist are readable from across the room.
• Remote control included: Switch stations and adjust playback without unlocking a phone.
• RCA and optical outputs: Connect to an amplifier directly, or feed an external DAC digitally.
• Auto on and standby: Switches itself on and off, drawing under 0.5 W in standby.

Customer Benefits

Plenty of good amplifiers and powered speakers were built before streaming, and replacing them just to get Spotify makes little sense. Stream 2 MK3 closes that gap for the price of a few records. It streams at CD quality (16-bit / 44.1 kHz), sets up in minutes over Wi-Fi and then gets out of the way: the remote handles radio presets, the screen tells you what is on, and the box itself is small enough to hide next to the amp.

Pros & Cons

✅ Pros:

• Very easy to set up and use
• Remote and colour screen make radio genuinely convenient
• Both analogue and optical outputs
• Tiny footprint and very low power draw

⚠️ Cons:

• Wi-Fi only, no Ethernet port
• No AirPlay, Chromecast or hi-res streaming; the Argon Audio Solo covers those
• CD-quality ceiling of 16-bit / 44.1 kHz

If you want Spotify and radio on the hi-fi you already like, the Argon Audio Stream 2 MK3 does exactly that and nothing you will never use.
