Vivisect is an 8HP Eurorack module for scaling, inverting and combining control voltages. It has four attenuverter channels, each with an independent output. An offset can be switched in or out of the summed signal, and a white noise source has its own dedicated output.
Jumpers on the back of the module let any or all of channels 2 to 4 be normalled to Input 1, so one source can feed several channels without patch cables. It works by phase cancellation, so with DC and most CV signals the centre position gives a true zero. Fast or complex signals, including audio, tend to bleed through at centre, which makes it less suited to audio processing, attenuating, mixing or multing, even though it can be used that way.
The module draws 30 mA from the +12V rail and 30 mA from the -12V rail, and is 22 mm deep.
