Coma Reactor 2 is a 12HP Eurorack delay that uses the PT2399 chip for a rough, lo-fi echo character. Separate level controls let the user balance the clean, delayed and affected signals. Delay time accepts CV, covering slight tape-style wobble through to extreme pitch-shifting effects.
A Send/Return path lets the delay signal be routed through an external effects unit. With nothing patched into it, the signal passes through a band-pass filter with Frequency (CV controllable) and Resonance controls. Raising the resonance turns the filter into a sine oscillator, which can be fed back into the input. The module can also produce noise and oscillate with no input connected.
The 2022 revision adds a breakout header on the back intended for future AFA expander modules. The module is 22mm deep and draws 39mA from +12V and 21mA from -12V.
