The Trouper is a self-contained portable PA that combines a powered speaker with a three-channel mixer. It uses three 6.5-inch woofers and a 1-inch neodymium compression driver, split by an electronic 1.8 kHz crossover. Power is 200 watts peak (130 W for the low frequencies, 70 W for the highs), with thermal and overload protection and a signal/limit LED. Frequency range is 65 Hz to 20 kHz, with a maximum SPL of 117 dB continuous and 120 dB peak at 1 m.
The mixer has two line/mic channels on XLR/quarter-inch combo jacks and an Aux channel with stereo RCA and 1/8-inch inputs. Each channel has a two-band (low/high) EQ. Bluetooth (A2DP) streams backing tracks or music from a compatible device, and two Troupers can be linked wirelessly for a stereo pair. An XLR mix output feeds additional speakers or subwoofers.
The trapezoidal MDF enclosure has a vinyl wrap and steel corners. It weighs 23 lbs (10.43 kg), has a rear handle, rubberized feet and a 36 mm pole socket for stand mounting. A padded slip-on cover is available as an accessory.
