Bluetooth Total 2 is a battery-powered Bluetooth receiver fitted with an XLR connector. It plugs directly into the XLR input of a mixer or powered loudspeaker, after which a phone, tablet or computer can be paired and audio streams to the connected equipment without a cable run.
Two units can be linked wirelessly to serve larger or stereo speaker setups. A Bluetooth Total 2 can pair with another Bluetooth Total 2 or with the Alto Professional Bluetooth Ultimate, both sold separately. The original Bluetooth Total is not supported for this linking.
Power comes from a built-in rechargeable battery, charged over USB micro, which runs the unit for more than 6 hours. The wireless range is stated as over 100 ft. A product overview and a user guide are available as downloads from the maker.
