CQ-12T

The CQ-12T is the smallest mixer in the Allen & Heath CQ range. Each input channel can run as a Quick Channel, which puts instrument-specific processing on a single knob, or as a Complete Channel with full parameter access. A Gain Assistant sets and monitors input levels, and a Feedback Assistant uses up to 16 filters per output to remove feedback frequencies. Audio runs at 96 kHz, with onboard processing, two FX engines and reverb, delay and modulation algorithms with instrument presets.

Mixing is handled from a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen with a rotary control and three Custom SoftKeys. There are 4 DCA groups and 4 mute groups for controlling several channels at once, and an Automatic Mic Mixer that is available on every input for speech applications such as conferences and podcasts.

There are 10 mic/line inputs (5 XLR and 5 XLR/TRS combi) plus a stereo TRS input. Outputs are a main XLR pair and 6 TRS monitor outputs. A 16x16 USB-B interface and 16x16 SD card recording handle multitrack capture, stereo files can be recorded or played back by USB key, and Bluetooth allows playback from a phone. Connecting a router or access point enables control through the CQ MixPad app.
