The K702 is an open-back, over-ear headphone aimed at precision listening, mixing and mastering. Its 45 mm drivers combine a two-layer Varimotion diaphragm with flat-wire voice coils, which are intended to give higher sensitivity and a more accurate treble and transient response. The open design is meant to give a spacious, airy presentation.

The headband is genuine leather and the ear pads are shaped 3D foam, designed for long sessions. The pads are replaceable. The headphones do not fold. Each unit is individually tested and serial-numbered.

The 3 m cable is detachable and connects to the headphones through a professional mini XLR connector, so it can be replaced quickly. The cable ends in a gold-plated 3.5 mm (1/8-inch) stereo plug, with a 6.3 mm (1/4-inch) screw-on adapter included for studio equipment and headphone amplifiers.
