The K240 Studio is a pair of semi-open, over-ear headphones intended for mixing, mastering and general playback in studio settings. Each ear cup holds a 30 mm XXL transducer with a Varimotion diaphragm, which is designed to give a wide dynamic range, higher sensitivity and high sound levels. The semi-open construction is meant to deliver a solid bass range together with clear high frequencies.

The headband adjusts itself to the wearer, and the over-ear pads enclose the ears for long sessions. The earpads are replaceable, and the cable is single-sided. The headphones are not foldable.

The cable detaches at the headphones through a mini XLR connector. The supplied 3 m cable ends in a 3.5 mm stereo plug, and a screw-on 6.3 mm adapter is included for connecting to standard headphone outputs and portable equipment. Rated impedance is 55 Ω with 104 dB SPL/V sensitivity, so the headphones suit typical interface and mixer headphone outputs.
