Leírás
The C114 is a studio condenser microphone with a 26 mm dual-diaphragm pressure-gradient capsule. The capsule is edge-terminated, a design said to follow that of the C12 and C414. Three polar patterns are built in: cardioid, omnidirectional and figure of eight, so one microphone can cover vocals, instruments, speech and room sound.
The electronics use an optimised transformerless FET circuit, giving a self-noise level of 12 dB(A) SPL and a maximum SPL of 145 dB for 0.5% THD. Frequency response runs from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. The body is made from 100% recycled metals and alloys, and the packaging is recyclable.
It connects through a 3-pin XLR output and needs 48 V phantom power. The microphone is supplied with an H84 shock mount. Listed applications include project studio, live instrument, podcasting, streaming, conferencing, gaming and broadcasting.
