MPC Live II is a standalone music production workstation built around 16 velocity- and pressure-sensitive RGB pads, four touch-sensitive Q-Link knobs and a full-colour touchscreen. A quad-core processor, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage drive it, and storage can be extended through SATA connections. Workflow tools include 16 Levels, Note Repeat, Auto Sample and Chords.
The unit has full-range stereo monitors built in, so it can be used without headphones or external speakers. A rechargeable lithium-ion battery gives up to 5 hours of use away from a power outlet.
Connectivity covers stereo line inputs and three stereo output pairs, a headphone output, 2x2 MIDI, eight CV/Gate outputs, Ethernet, USB-A, USB-B and an SD card slot, plus WiFi and Bluetooth. It ships with MPC desktop software, exclusive sound content and two months of Splice access.
