Fire is a pad-based controller designed specifically around the FL Studio DAW. Its 64 velocity-sensitive RGB backlit pads change role depending on the selected mode, so the same surface can be used for melodic playing, beat making or launching material.
In Note mode the pads become a MIDI keyboard covering three octaves, for playing any instrument hosted in FL Studio. Drum mode gives an MPC-style 16-pad layout that is set up to work with FPC and SliceX. Performance mode lets you launch MIDI clips and audio from the pad matrix, for arrangement work in the studio or for live use.
Control comes from four 360-degree touch-capacitive assignable knobs, a separate encoder for navigating the OLED display, and 20 dedicated function buttons with red, amber or green backlighting. The unit connects to a computer through a single USB Type-B port.
