The TMA-2 Ninja Tune Edition is a modular headphone built around S83 speaker units made from recycled Ninja Tune vinyl. Each unit has a 40mm diaphragm of bio-cellulose, described as stiffer and lighter than standard PET, for lower distortion and clear sound at high volume.
The headphones connect wirelessly through the H06 Bluetooth 5.0 module, which supports SBC and AAC, has a built-in microphone and gives about 20 hours of playback. They come with both on-ear (E02) and over-ear (E04) PU leather memory foam cushions. The over-ear pair adds low-end boost for a warmer sound, while the on-ear pair gives high isolation and a punchy bass response.
A wired option is also included: a coiled 1.5m cable (C02) that extends to 3.2m, with a screw-on 1/4 to 1/8 adapter for DJing or small studio use. A protective pouch is supplied. Because the system is modular, parts can be replaced or upgraded over time.
